Not Like Those Americans!

Conservative Party Leader David Cameron made brief unscheduled remarks to the conference today to comment on the financial situation. Very moderate tone, even statesmanlike. But, twice during the speech he vowed not to be like those Americans with all their partisan wrangling.

The Fleishman Team in Birmingham

Rosie Luff escorted me to the Conservative Convention to help me obtain my credentials.  Very appropriate since her father is a highly respected Conservative Member of Parliament.  Sadly, Rosie shares his conservative orientation.  However, a conservative in Great Britain is more like a moderate Democrat, or Libertarian, in the U.S.  So, we got along famously.  [...]
