In the process of trying to find all the U.S. Congressmen whose districts include portions of some major metropolitan regions in the United States, I stumbled across www.GovTrack.us. It’s an amazing site that uses Google Maps to outline all the districts in every state. What makes it useful to me is that I am able to zoom in on a city and see the district lines. And then I can click on each district to find out the Representative and all sorts of information on the Representative (voting record, speeches, sponsored bills).
Has anyone else used this? Any idea how long its been around? Or if there are any other cool web utilities like this?
